Terminating a commission occurs when one party decides not to continue. This process requires mutual approval from both parties. To initiate, click the three-dash-line button and follow the steps.

Initiate Termination


Provide a reason for termination, upload supporting evidence, and include a detailed description.

Do note that the termination process can only be used once. If it is rejected, both parties cannot go through this process again.

What happens if the other party agrees to close the commission?

The termination process can only be initiated once. If the request is rejected, neither party can attempt termination again, and the option will be disabled (greyed out).

When the receiving party agrees to the termination:, the remaining funds for incomplete stages will be refunded to the client after a 7-day holding period.

What happens if the other party declines?

If the termination request is declined, there are two options: 

  • Continue with the commission process as originally planned. 
  • Contact UniFans support for mediation.

The commission’s status will be updated in the respective workspace to reflect the outcome.

As noted, the termination process can only be used once. After a decision is made, the three-dash-line button will be disabled to prevent further attempts.
